Frances Cone

FRANCES CONE is a Brooklyn-based indie-pop band fronted by Christina Cone (keyboards/vocals) with Jeff Malinowski (guitar/vocals) and Andrew Doherty (bass/vocals). Their lush three-part harmonies and intimate understanding of each other as players and people belie the fact that they all just met within the past year in the borough in which they live and perform. The band has already landed on year-end "Best Of" lists from the likes of Daytrotter and Vanity Fair and performed at marquee New York venues such as Bowery Ballroom and Music Hall of Williamsburg. At once their sound is both enormous and intimate, huge yet familiar. Frances Cone is currently on tour in support of their new self-titled EP due early spring 2014.

NTNT started out as the brainchild of Dustin Brown (Lead Vocals, Guitarist, Percussion). As Brown quickly developed the desire to perform the songs live, he sought different musicians (5 different lineups to be exact), before meeting Ryan Berry (Drums, Samples).
NTNT contrasts color and energy to the sound they have created in which the listener can either cry or dance to the various songs.

... as part of the Crystal's "Get Intimate" series

While we're known for our amazing sold out shows, "Get Intimate" takes advantage of the room's size, shape and décor to provide a completely different music listening experience. On these special evenings we roll out tables, chairs and sofas to create a space that surrounds the dance floor with a variety of candlelit nooks for hanging out, all with glorious sightlines and stellar sound. Whether you camp out on the dance floor, wander and explore the room, get your mingling on, or simply relax and absorb the action, you'll definitely relish the look and feel of this time-honored musical refuge.
