Ron Artis II

Ron Artis II is a multi-instrumentalist who grew up in Hawaii among an exceptionally musical family. Full band, trio or solo, Ron has performed and collaborated with Mick Fleetwood (Fleetwood Mac), Jack Johnson, Jake Shimabukuro, Booker T Jones, Eric Krasno (Soulive, Lettuce) and G Love among others. If this wasn't a rich line - up of names, go spend a few moments reading the lyrics to Ron's songs. Each song is laced with intention, deep conviction, story, and a heart that has truly been
there.

If you've been to one of Ron's shows, then you may have had the immense pleasure of seeing a daughter or two take to the stage with her father. In fact, being on the road is a family affair. With 4 studio albums, 60+ songs, 1000s of flights, 100,000s diapers, and 15 countries, Ron and his family [full band included] continue to live by preparation and faith. Holding each day and person they meet as with immense privilege, not to be taken for granted, they look forward to meeting and delighting audiences around the world.

Hillstomp

Drawing heavily from North Mississippi trance blues, a bit from Appalachia and taking their unstoppable energy from rockabilly, this Portland duo balances a makeshift drumkit of buckets, cans and BBQ lids with some rambunctious slide guitar. Think old timey blues filtered through hops and the Ramones!

Whether arranging traditionals, classics, or deceptively stark original songs, Hillstomp has duct-taped together a distinctive sound that has quickly made them favorites up and down the West coast. Their third and latest release, After Two But Before Five, is a live album, showcasing the electricity of a Hillstomp peformance while introducing new songs in their growing reportoire of "Bucket ‘n Slide Rock ‘n Roll."

"Even for blues nuts, Hillstomp doesn't sound like anything that's come before it. While Johnson bangs out clanking beats on his modified kit.... Kammerer slips and slides around his guitar like a kid on a waterslide. Melodies zip and splash about. Mammoth grooves seemingly appear out of nowhere. It's all primitive and natural, like it sprung up from the ground." - Jeff Inman, Las Vegas City Life

Glitterfox

After taking home the grand prize win at Buskerfest (Long Beach's largest and longest-running battle-of-the-bands competition) and being named "Best Folk Act" by the OC Weekly, the on-stage bandmates and off-stage girlfriends of Glitterfox (formerly Bearcoon) made a bold decision: to sell 95% of their possessions, quit their jobs, give up their apartment, and begin touring the country full-time.

The duo spent the next two years living in their Chevy G20 van, touring the country full-time, and making appearances at some of Southern California's most noteworthy festivals - Joshua Tree Music Festival, Music Tastes Good, and multiple appearances at the Long Beach Folk Revival Festival.

Glitterfox has released two studio albums, the first of which, El Guapo, reached the #1 spot on amazon.com's "Hot New Releases" list and would later go on to be voted "Long Beach Album of the Year." Summed up best by Live Rock Gig: "El Guapo is a collection of poetic lyrics combined with spellbinding harmonies... a profoundly heartfelt collection of recordings."

Glitterfox is currently finishing up their third studio album with plans to release in September 2019.

The Get Ahead

The Get Ahead is a band on a mission to move you. With a gritty and soulful roots aesthetic carried by dynamic vocal harmonies and compelling lyricism, this five-piece group from Portland, Ore., is a tightly knit cadre of emotional intensity. In 2019, on the heels of their EP, Mind is a Mountain (produced by Grammy Award winner, Son Little), The Get Ahead released their full-length record Deepest Light, a bold statement on the celebration of life, healing and the importance of keeping open hearts. In support of the album, the band shared their vibrant and joyful chemistry with audiences across the NW and performed on nationally syndicated Live Wire Radio. The band was also invited to showcase in Nashville's AmericanaFest, and their song "Deepest Light" was featured on NPR Music's Station Breaks: The Best New Songs from NPR Stations.
