Norman Baker spent his childhood wreaking havoc, inventing comic characters, writing raps, and playing sports in Kent, Wa. Surrounded by a family of musicians, he was first influenced by his mother, father, and uncle, as well as Patsy Cline, the Beatles, Bob Marley, and Tom Waits. Since picking up the guitar and bass at the age of 12 he's been composing music and playing various instruments in many bands throughout the U.S.
